Rangolis with Mom

You know what is the best part of Diwali? Some will say Fireworks, Some will say sweets, Some will say lights, but nah I'd say its the Rangoli. One of the most beautiful forms of the art which comes out from hibernation during the time of Diwali. Rangoli is an ancient form of art which is been done on special occasions usually by females of the house.
A Typical Rangoli is made on a brown canvas, which is made by using a soft red rock like chalk traditionally called gheru in the local language. Then using white powder called charodi/chirodi in the local languages a basic outline or a sketchy framework for design is made in which we later on fill in the colours. There are various forms of rangoli some of which are sanskar style, classic dot form, the flower rangoli  and the modern artistic ones.
I still remember me being a 5 yr old, observing mum making rangoli outside our house. I kept watching it with awe when it was finished. My mum's actually super skilled at the traditional dot-style rangolis . Since then, as I grew up, I kept observing and learning from her. Then slowly one day I asked her if I could help her out. She smiled at me, took a little dish and poured some white powder into it from her dish and handed it out to me. She said, " Try some of your own in that little corner at first." I let a frown and stared at her for a while and then being grumpy me I said, "I wanna help in this one."
She smiled and said,"But for learning you need to try out there first and then I'll see if you do any good then I'll allow you to work with me in this one." At that moment, I felt like my self respect was hurt and I was challenged. Since I loved challenges even as a child, I began my drawing my own separate rangoli beside hers. Every day, during each of the diwali seasons. I used to do that. It felt as if I was mentally competing with her. Each time I made my own and then frowned when I compared that with my mom's. Hers used to flawless and perfect. Each line precise and dots straight in line whereas mine were like some ants were crawling by. But that 5 yr old me never left hope. Each year I tried to do better than ever.

I was 10 yrs old, again it was the diwali season. I finished mine and asked mum, "how's it?" with a broad smile plastered on my face filled with satisfaction of my completed 'picasso' style artwork. My smile turned into frown when she said, "It's Okay." I gazed at mine for a while and then had a look at the huge one she was making for diwali. As usual I sat down beside her and began observing. As I rested my chin over the palm she said," Take  this colour and fill it here. In this part." I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I blinked a few times and then realised finally I am working on the main one.
Since that day, till this date every year me and mom together put out some cool designs. Each year we try something new, from traditional to sanskar style to some modern art forms. We always sit together and plan as if we are gonna make a architect plan for some building. Which colour? In What combination, Which style should we do? what size etc etc. I know many of you would be thinking being a boy I am into rangolis. Well to be honest, art doesn't go by sexes and its joy of making and creating something awesome that pleasant to eyes that inspires me to do that.
Below are a few pics of Rangolis which me and mom have made.

This one isn't mine but just added coz I liked it.

How to Support Your Favourite Author 101

I've been receiving messages saying, I'm your fan, I really enjoy reading your books, When you're publishing you next book and so on. Then when I ask them if they had bought a copy of my book, the conversation slowly goes awkward and then turns into How many copies did I sell? Well, for the first instance thanks a lot for supporting and taking interest in my book sales, much appreciated.

I know many of us first search for pirated books of our favourite authors online and if we don't find any we just ask our friends if they had them. I know there'll be several ones who wouldn't be able to afford books by themselves, but Piracy  isn't a way out to it.

So here I am bringing you a list of tips that you can do to support your favourite authors and encourage them to write more. Everyone needs motivation don't they? Just they're published doesn't mean they're super duper millionaires right now.

  1. Try to buy books legally and don't support piracy. I know many of you'll say why to pay for something that's already available on Internet for free. This is something that you won't understand until and unless you yourself publish your work and put yourself out to people.
  2. I know paperbacks can be costly and some publishers over charge for copies. You can opt for Ebooks which are I think almost 1/4th of the original paperback's cost. Even Ebook is a published book. Some people count it as nothing. Talking about Ebooks, do you remember those save paper campaigns? I don't think I need to write an article on advantages of an EBook.
  3. Please don't opt for piracy as far as possible, get 2/3 reader friends, contribute and buy a copy that you can share amongst yourselves.
  4. Even if you any how fail to buy a legit copy and go for pirated copies, at least promote the book over socials, give it some reviews on Goodreads, support the author while you can.
  5. If the author is your friend, mom, dad, brother, sister, anyone close, Please don't ask for free copies. I know this sounds weird but who'll support if you won't? When you buy copies it increases the sales graph and book sales rank rises. There's absolutely no issue in giving free copies but when author buys the copy himself it doesn't account in any sales.
  6. Free copies distribution to people is a mere gimmick for authors and an earning trick for publishers so in that way they earn something even if the author doesn't do good in market. By this way of authors buying their own books, publishers are getting their cut but poor author ends up paying for his own stuff.
  7. Never ask an Author how much did he sell, it's like asking someone how much he/she earns.
  8. Getting published doesn't mean we are millionaires itself. It takes time, people need to buy, read, support, appreciate.
  9. If you want to read, and are given a free copy, please review it and spread it over socials and help author with promotions. It doesn't take much time to just post what you're reading over socials.
  10. Last but not the least, please don't support piracy and opt for any library service like Kindle Unlimited, which can be accessed over kindle app on mobiles. When there's a will, there's a way. EBooks are real books as well, just its not on paper, doesn't mean you can treat it like anything.
So these were a few points which I as a newbie author wanted to tell out to my readers. Personally, I always upload my first drafts on Wattpad.com Where people can read and comment on initial drafts. I know it won't be as good as edited and published materials but that's how you can read my books for free and without promoting piracy. Along with that you can comment on it and lemme know what you like and what you don't.

Having fun with the Anonymous feedbacks

Recently there was a huge trend of Anon-feedback websites and apps. At first I was a bit hesitant to try them out. But later when the Sarahah was trending, I thought to give it a try. At first I thought, there'll be haters (keyboard warriors) spamming the inbox as it was totally anonymous but what I got totally surprised me out.

I know many of you will judge me after this, you're free to do that. But trust me this was one of the most fun things that I had tried ever. Generally I have noticed on thing, whenever I am hesitant to try something out, it always turns out to be the best thing I've come across.

So here, I'll be posting some of the messages I had received from you people, who always read and support my work.

In case you were living under the rock and don't know what the whole thing is about, then lemme guide you here. A few weeks back, a trend started with people making accounts on Sarahah.com which helps you to get Anonymous feedback from the people near you, so that you can improve. It's a kind of constructive feedback system, so people are free to say whatever they feel like. For most of the times it was used as a dating site, yet it was a total fun.  The popularity reached so much that the servers were overloaded. If you're reading this and want to give me some feedback/message or ask me something, here's the link -> click here Leave your constructive message for me here.

The thing with this anon feedback system, that I enjoyed is people can say anything they have in their mind. They can tell it to you without fear of being judged. Most of us at times don't say anything to people because we feel the fear of being judged. We feel if we comment we might lose the friend or mess up the relation we had with that person.

Here I am attaching a some messages that I had received. I have answered all of them on my Twitter, don't forget to follow me there.

How I Inspired someone

Hey peeps!

Well a few days back or sorry several days back I had uploaded a post regarding my views on cycling. Which I agree were quite practical and hard to digest by society. But after that there are a few things happened which I felt like I should spread out to the world.

Its a heavenly feeling when you inspire someone. Like you start feeling so good about yourself. Well after the post I started uploading my ride pics on my socials and started talking about it pretty much everywhere. 90% people almost categorised me as nuts and to be very honest I don't blame them for that :P

Benefits of cycling are so many that even if you google it once you'll find tons of links that you may take a year to read all of them. But bleh! I am not gonna blast all those facts on you. You can read my last post for them by clicking here. (you see what I did here :P #shamelesspromotions ) Anyway coming back to topic, so with all ride pics and stuff uploading on socials I started getting some responses like - Duh! you can't do that, You're too fat for that, Only fatsos will do cycling. Yeah , I was angry at first but then my wisdom asked me to ignore them.

Change can't be given to you everytime,
You should bring the change.

Then now 3 months later, I see occsasional riding pics on socials, people around me joining cycling groups and wherever its feasible, cycle to work, people started cycling. I silently observed the change in ecosystem around me as it brought a smile over my face. Yesterday a thing happened that inspired me to write this post. Someone who never used to step out of his house without his huge sedan or his sports bike had bought a decent commuter cycle and had installed lights n other gears on it. I saw him cycling out of the parking space at night.

You see that? Lol people actually changed felt the change in the ecosystem. I would still say, If they can change why not you. Take the healthy alternative, use cycles in 5km radius around you. Inside city cycles will be always beneficial as it'll cut your gymming costs and make you fit by saving you money.

Bike and Car runs on money and makes you fat,
Cycle runs on fat and saves you money ;)

So with this cute little quote, lemme end this post here before anyone of you kills me :P Just kidding, don't forget to follow me on socials and share this post.

Why not cycling? The best alternative

I have been cycling since school days. I don't know why but I really enjoy and love cycling. Recently a few things happening around made me think about this and well I would love to share this with all of you.

If you think I am gonna write another go green type of post then you might be thinking wrong. I would stick to ground reality and practical situations. A few days back one of my friends told me 'why you're still on cycle?' I knew this question was coming but anyway, all of them had their new bikes and I just got a new cycle. They were puzzled at what and why was I doing that. I explained them some reasons which I would like to share with you people.

As the modern world is advancing, so are the means of transport. People shifted from horses to cycles and then to cars and bikes. But along with that one thing was ignored by most of them i.e. Health. In recent years I saw almost all of my friends following one trend, first we used to be cycling all around the area but now they all have got some new shiny bikes. I am not against any bikes coz even bikes are my favourites but just give a few moments to think about my two cents that I am about to give you now.

What's logic behind travelling inside the city like within 25 km radius on a bike and then going to gym and working out for 2-3 hours? If some of you say speed then well inside the city, I assume most would be riding at 30-45kmph which even a cycle can do? Imagine a scenario where you are having a bicycle and you are cycling around the city, going to market, or even just roaming around and getting fresh air, etc. This gives you the excercise you need. You no more need to go to a gym unless you are planning for some special abs.

The only exception to this will be asthamatic people and the ones with joint pains. I believe workouts should be always incorporated within your daily schedule. So you won't actually need to give or allot some time for a workout and along with that it'll also keep you healthy. Its scientifically proven, cycling is much better than running or jogging anytime as later stresses your joints to an extent that might result in pain after a few days. Then why not cycling?

Cycling will not only save your gym money but also your fuel money. Just think on it, If you're travelling most of the time inside the city, over small distances you can easily substitute it with a good cycle. It'll not only get your belly debloated but also get your pocket bloated with money being saved. Just an simple idea that can give you so many benefits. I really hate with someone says it'll harm your status quo. There are prime ministers who daily come to work on cycles. Excuses have no end, but its a matter for ones who really want to try it out.

Most of the people have absolutely no use for vehicles and just get it for a status quo. Its okay to buy a vehicle with your money and not with your health. I always see many cars lying in parking lots for years, just like that and having no absoulete use. Honestly, I have seen nowadays many Corporate campuses getting fuel vehicles outside their campuses and making cyling and e-vehicles an option to travel inside campuses.

If this post has brought your mind into some enlightenment then I am really happy for you and for those who are still not convinced, well even petrol pump and gym owners need to earn so I am happy with you supporting them, they won't die hungry. (sarcasm intended)

How to Judge a Book - Is It a good pick?

Once you made up your mind that you want to read a book, then you're off on Internet either to check some reviews before buying one or go to some book website to order them. Many of the times the reviews are biased or your thinking doesn't match with the reviewer. Many times you follow reviews and get a book, but after reading you feel 'Ah! It's boring', 'Why did I waste my money on this?',' This is not my type'.

It completely spoils your mood when you're soo into a book or waiting for it to arrive and read as the reviews and even the cover and blurb is great but when you open and read the first few pages cuss words leave your mouth. Ah! Don't deny, we all do that and it's okay. After this many will ask me 'how to choose a book?' for them I am writing this post so that you don't end up choosing something that doesn't suit your taste and end up spoling your moods.

The cover and the blurb has a lot of effect on the readers when they are out for choosing a book. Whether you're buying it from a local bookstore or ordering it online. Online at times you can save your money from buying something that looks so promising but isn't your type at all. As many times, some websites allow preview for a few pages to be read to see if the book is really good or not. Some of you may be old school and follow the book bloggers/vloggers. But there's a difference when you see a review buy a blogger and any normal user.

While reviewing the proffesional bloggers mostly avoid harsh terms or most of them time they don't even point out any cons in the work. As many of them go by the line that its someone's hard work and things like that but for them, I would like to say, why would anyone get what you like?

And then there are times when you'll find people writing really crappy reviews all over but if you just see the amount of copies that the book's been sold is really impressive. So when it comes to end, after seeing reviews by bloggers and comments on social media and stuff, you are actually now not in a mood to buy a book.

You suddenly start feeling that nothing's worth a buy or nothing is worth your money. Even if you're on some website like Wattpad you'll feel like nothing suits your taste. It's all crap.

So I wanna share a few tricks that I use while picking my books to read. If you think they're good you can follow them or else the old school methods awaits you ;)

While searching anywhere for a book, the very first thing I would notice is the cover and blurb. Many times the cover and blurb look so promising that you end up buying them, but what if that's nothing something that book actually contains? We'll discuss this after a few topics. So first check if the book and blurb are in sync.

For example : The cover looks proffesional with detailed graphics and eye pleasing but when you get to blurb you'll find the same old tetto-tales which you're not at all interested in.

Many times you'll find cliched stories, honestly as much I've read and experienced, I found cliched stories much more interesting and story filled and juicy as along with the cliched plots they added some wonderful creativity along with it which made even cliched reads enjoyable so I won't say a no no to Romance or Cliche works.

When you feel that okay, now this books looks promising. The blurb says a lot in itself, the way of writing blurb tells you itself the how the book might be. Personally I would refrain overly melodramatic stuff. It would be like a big NO NO for me.

When you're done with blurb and cover and have made up your mind for trying that book out. You think to go and check the reviews. Now see if the reviews and what you felt is in sync or not. Personally I would advise to search for full reviews and refrain from considering some random one word or sentence publicities.

While searching for reviews if you know someone whose thinking matches yours then without any doubt check what they think about it. Else first search reviews for a book which you've already read. In this manner it'll be easier to check if the reviews can be trusted or not. As both reviewers and readers are humans and humans are unique there are chances you feel that the popular reviewer is not posting correct views, but well that's his/her POV and it need not be same for all.

Once you find a reviewer that you feel is good for you then you can check if he/she has reviewed the thing you're buying. If not then dude! Stop overthing and just try it out. WHY BEING SO CONFUSED.

You're not gonna lose or gain the world if you would buy or won't buy a book. As simple as that.
Keep it simple Keep it easy
So folks, that's all for now. I hope you enjoy reading this and do follow me on socials for the updates.

How to Tweak your WiFi to get best speeds.

Internet is one of the wonderful things that can happen to you in 21st century. A fast and unlimited Internet connection is no less than a heaven on earth. But at the same time a snail-paced internet can drive you nuts. Don't believe me there are like gazillions of memes about it.

Well to avoid snail paced internet speeds we always take care to pay and subscribe to best plans that suit our needs. But there are times when it happens that we aren't still getting the speed that we should. There are a lot of reasons that can slow down your WiFi speeds. You can find all that reasons all over the internet. Here I am not gonna fuss and waste time upon all the issues, instead I am gonna give some really handy solutions that I've tried myself.

Try all this at your OWN RISK

WiFi routers come in lot of kinds and all techy stuff. But to keep it simplified for even the ones who aren't techy These are a few simple tips and tricks that you can do to literally double the speed and range of your WiFi Routers ( which was in my case )

If you have an android device you can download an app from the playstore named WiFi Analyser and install it to check the status of your WiFi router signals at your place. This will give you a brief Idea about the signal strength and number of WiFi connections available in your surroundings.

A lot of these instructions aren't router specific as different routers have different options but you'll find all these options in all routers please look out for them.

Open your router admin settings and go to wireless settings. In the modern N based routers they have some default settings to ensure that the router supports even the most ancient device. If you don't own any of these ancient devices this can actually slow down the output of your router upto 50% or more.

In the wireless setting ensure that the wireless security settings are set to WPA2/WPA2-PSK and the Encryption is set to AES. Both of these are latest security methods that can help to increase the security of your connection along with improving your network status.

These settings actually reduce your support to the ancient devices, but it doesn't really matter as most of the latest devices ( from minimum 2005) support these settings.

Second step is to change B/G/N mixed mode to N mode. This will increase the signal range and speed both as mixed settings is kept by default to ensure that the router supports most ancient devices, but unless you own one of those its of no use to you.

While you're changing these settings ensure that no other settings are harmed and always have the channel mode set to Auto as it will decide the best possible channels for your connection as you're not the only person in the surroundings who has a WiFi connection.

I hope this short and crisp little settings post help you out to increase your connection speed and range. If there's any mistake or error and you know the previous settings do revert them back or else call your ISP to reset the router for you.

How to Decide on Internet?

There are times when you're stuck upon a choice. You are in a dilemma of losing something if you choose any one of the options but you can't have both as well. Choices are something that either make or break things. I guess the whole market and mostly blogging world thrives on choices.

Influencers over the social media be like ' X no of reasons to choose/not to choose this'. You'll see millions and billions of posts over Internet with some awesome reasons about the things you're being indecisive about. You go on reading them all and at the end instead of finding a solution you end up being more confused. Most of the times people search online for tech and in the most common reasons it turns up into Andriod vs iOS or Windows vs OSX vs Linux.

Internet is full of information and when i mean Information its both correct and false information. You're likely to get false information first most of the times due to several factors that you know. Sometimes people ask me 'how did you find that? I ended up searching for hours and landed on youtube watching something else' The answer to this is very simple, its all about your searching habits and things you watch over internet.

There are things like SEO and stuff but it doesn't show its effect unless you act upon it. If you watch more iphone posts there are likely chances that when you search for iphone vs andriod posts you'll get iphone biased posts. Here the blame games won't work at all and that's the fun.

I always say to people,

Keep it simple, Keep it easy
But Ah well, you can guide and rest people have to make their choices. Its like you want to loose weight but you want to eat that cheese burst pizza as well, Quite tempting eh? At the end of the day, whether you choose one or the another it solely depends upon your happiness. You might end up choosing the best option but you might not find the happiness you wished for. Remember
Making the best choice always doesn't mean you'll end up happy.
Sometimes you have to go deep inside and find what makes you happy. If you want to eat that pizza brings you happiness then go and eat it. But if getting more fit makes you happy then its better to refrain from the idea of pizza.

At the end of the day

It's all about priorities
Everything in the world is about priorities that you make and break. If you think getting the most expensive phone makes you happy then go for it but if you think getting most value for money thing makes you happy, then that's your call. I hope after this making decisions over internet gets a bit easier.

How to plot an awesome story

Once you have made up your mind that you are going to write a book the very next thing that comes to your mind is what should I write about.

Many time it might have happened that you start writing a book and might have even reached the half way and you just come to know that your plot idea is really boring or someone just has wrote the very same story in much more interesting way.

One of the few most important things that you need to take care about before writing a story is designing a good plot.

A good plot is like a blue print of your story, where you know what the story is going to be before writing it out or you can say plotting it with ink on a paper. I might say it as designing your own creative world where everything happens what you think of.

So here I am presenting you some of the important tips that you need to take care of while creating or designing a plot for your story.

1. First you need to choose a genre before you think about a story line or you can do vice-versa if you already have a story in your mind.

2. Once you have decided a genre you need to think about the things or the sequences of events that you need in your story.

3. If you already had a story in your mind you could skip that point and directly think about the characters that you might need in your story.

4. Always remember to keep a few blank spaces in plot so that you can make changes when you feel like as you get to write the story.

5. Choose the amount of characters only as much as you need. Pull only those characters into highlights that are needed. Don't over do with the characters, that might look like chaos and very difficult for readers as well as you to remember who's what.

6. Ensure that you have at least one Main Character (MC), you can have more than one which totally depends on the type of your story but its advisable to limit the main characters to max 3 or 4.

7. Once you're done with the characters choose the time in which your story exists along with the place you want it to happen.

8. Once you are done with all the points above you can start now plotting the characters according to sequences in your story that are going to happen.

9. Always remember to provide the information only as much as its needed according to your plot. Avoid information dump as far as possible.

10. If you're story has a character's past don't overdo with the past, just keep it as much as its needed and let the story flow.

11. Write down all the things that you think are god enough to start with and finalise your story plot.

12. Ensure that you have realistic characters and they don't end up looking same in your story.

13. To avoid generalisation of the characters you need to research about the time, era and type of personality that you're going to develop for your characters.

14. While developing personalities for characters ensure that it goes with your genre and story. Dont make a bad-ass character type a hero in your story. I know its you're story you wanna do it how you want but that certainly won't be keeping up while writing and readers as well.

15. Don't ever forget to play with the characters as much as you want and even with the plot and timezone. Be as creative and realistic with your plot as much as you can. Bring it out into reality. You can always do some character sketches and stuff to get a proper idea of your characters and scenes.

16. Last and the most important thing is choosing a POV to write from. You'll find many articles over internet that'll guide you to choose a POV but always keep in mind to choose a POV that suits your story. After all you're the writer and choose one you need and just let your creativity flow.

if hope these points will help you out to plan out a good story and if you like these don't forget to share the post and follow me on socials for further updates.

Tips for Writing a Good Book

In the previous posts I had been talking a lot about the Don'ts of book writing. Here are some Do's about the book writing.

1. The title and the story should be in sync. You cannot have a title like 'The Hardest Choice' and don't have a difficult choice anywhere in your plot. (Quite obvious but many don't follow it)

2. Try to keep the title of maximum four words. Personally I turn down those novels which have a long title like, 'I am a model undercover as a school's nerd.' It gives away quite a lot. Be creative in title. Do a bit of research over the internet and brain storm with friends for the title.

3. A Blurb should be strong enough to grab the attention. A good blurb can attract many readers similarly a bad one can drive them away. So it's quite essential to have a good, catchy and creative blurb for your book.

One of the golden rules for a good blurb is that you don't give away too much. Introduce the theme and leave it at the point where the reader feels curious to know more about your work. Also I would suggest that if your story is a conventional drama then  you should keep a creative summary. Having an opening line or a dialogue from the book definitely helps to make it better.

3. The MC(Main Charachter) should be seen from the beginning of your book i.e. from the first chapter itself. Keep in mind that there your book shouldn't start with a dialouge in the first paragraph itself. Give a bit intro to plot or something on the similar lines.

4. Out of all the books I read till now, most of them had overused character names. Please try being creative with your character names. Don't use the same old overused cliched names. You might think that they are good but honeslty they are too overused. We already have a lot of names that have an impact. So why not to use them?

5. Be consistent with your POVs. Refrain from changing them frequently. If you are a new writer, try writing in Third Person Limited. It is the easiest way to write.

6. Then there are the Casting Maniacs. Often I see the people casting unnecessary characters. Please your story is not a multi star cast movie. Casting should be of the main two characters and one or two supporting characters. There's no need of casting too many characters as they might turn out to be nightmare for you.

7. Grammar and punctuation errors should be rectified as soon as possible. This can be done by proof-reading the chapter every time. Grammar and punctuation show how much command do you have over English language. Editing can be done later on when your book is finally completed leaving no stuff behind.

8.  Over describing of feelings should be avoided. Nobody is interested in three page description of how somebody is feeling. It drags the story unnecessarily and makes it a bore. Unless and until you are writing a Cancer novel, emotional drag should be avoided. Use good words to make impact, not too many words.

9. Good usage of words and vocabulary doesn't hurt. Refer to a dictionary for good words but it should not be undecipherable at the same time. Refrain from using the chatting languages and slangs.

10. Avoid mixing of languages in your book. You can surely use a few words but don't overdo of those words inside the book. choose the language you want to write your book in and stick with it.

11. No need to add the past of the supporting characters if it does not have a link to the MC or the story. Refrain writing about the past of any character in a few initial chapters.  Stick as much to the story as you can, don't go too much with the past.

13. Try to keep the chapter length to maximum 2K words if posting online. If it is getting more than 2K, divide it.

14. If you write a long author's note, it's advisable to add it at the end of the chapter so that the reader get to read the chapter first.

15. Unnecessary twists and turns just to create spice should be avoided. Every twist in the story needs to have a good reason behind it.

17. Until and unless it is a teen fiction, try to have a justification for villain's behaviour. Nobody is born a villain, try being more realistic.

18.One of the most important things is that dialogues should be as realistic as possible.

19. You should have a proper ending for a novel, even if you are planning to have a sequel of the novel.

20. Lastly, don't promote suicide, self harm, domestic violence and rape. Try to keep negativity away from your book as far as possible.

Hope it helps. Keep writing.

How to get out of writer's block

There will be times when you are desperately trying to write something but there are scenes in your mind but you are just unable to pen them down into words. Many of you call it as writer's block or some people call it writer's block when you're stuck upon a scene in your story and can't think about what to write ahead.

There are several remedies and honestly some of them are really weird that you can find all over the internet. Internet is after all the biggest source of information right? Out of the frustration then you might start searching for all sorts of tips and tricks to get out of the writer's block. Many of you may go beyond certain limits with those stupid tips that you think will work. But if you ask me, Honestly they don't do a thing.

There can be endless arguments about this topic but here I am bringing you a few things that actually work. I don't you might even find them on Internet but these are some of the things that I have tried to get out of the writer's block as many of you might know I had been having these instances where I was unable to pen down the scenes which were already in my mind and I really didn't knew how that could happen?

Here are steps that I would suggest and not recommend as people have different tastes and choices. These surely will get you out of your block

1) Just leave your book aside.

This will help you tremendously whether you believe me or not. For once just stop thinking about the book, like it doesn't exist.

2) Do everything apart from writing and reading.

Once you have kept your manuscript aside which you were working on, don't jump on reading. Just stay away from text for a few days. Do anything that involves least of typing or reading or anything that reminds you that you have to write a book.

3) Go on a holiday or an adventure

I know many of you think that I have gone nuts that's why I am asking you to leave your book aside and do nothing but absolutely nothing. But trust me this helps. I'll tell you how at the end of this post.

4) Think about the life which you have to live when you are not a writer.

When you finally on holiday, just don't start thinking about anything. Leave that writer personality behind you. Even if you just think to have a walk out and aren't going on holiday, just forget that you're a writer. Think about everything else you would be doing if you weren't writing a book.

5) Discover the real you.

Once you find yourself, the self which is not a writer, just enjoy being that self. You might be a Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother, Employee etc... enjoy other roles of your real life.

Once you have tried all this and you feel like you finally have discovered the lost you. You can now go back to your book and start writing. You automatically find writing as a pleasure and words will start flowing down from your minds on to paper.

Now if any of you are interested in how this works I'll tell you. Before telling why this works I would like to make it clear that people have varied tastes and choices differ from person to person but there are some points in the human psychic that are same for each one of us and you can skip this part if you feel the points above aren't going to work.

Think that like the characters of the book are inside your mind, your real life roles are also inside your mind. Each role of your real life is inside your head. The role of writer inside your too gets tired after working day and night over a manuscript when you don't give it a break. This results in choking of that personality giving you a gift which you guys term as 'writer's block'.

When you just forget for the time being that you're a writer and you start living other roles of your real life you start feeling better as you gain new experiences and also giving the writer inside you a rest.

When you get back from your rest, the writer inside you is fresh again to work for you. This work not only for writers but for everything and every single profession. Monotonously doing a thing or a set of things make you hate those things. Take some break enjoy other roles of your life and you will certainly feel much better. Also the work performance will be enhanced when you get back with a new spirit.
