Tutorial - Enhance your Poetic skills

Hello guys, I am here to let out some of my thoughts and tips on writing poems. This article will help you out in writing poems in a much better way.

So well,  first let's see what poetry is?
Poetry is a form of literature. Writing a good poem is not less than creating a beautiful art. It not only has to have some quirky or intelligent rhyming qualities but also should evoke meanings in the place of a prose within the restricted amount of words. A good poem should tell a story itself with just a span of few words.

Once you have started after jotting down your ideas, now let's have a look at steps involved in writing and enhancing your lovely art of poetry.

STEP 1 - Plan what you want to write about, choose a topic. Get detailed information on the topic for example let me take a topic "life" well we know about what life is, so go ahead with the experiences in life. Think a lot and brainstorm about it. Jot down the points that you can immerse into your creation.

STEP 2 - Pen down what ever comes in your mind, let it be any way possible. Let the lines be long or the poem be long don't worry about it. Just go ahead with the flow. Just think about anything and start writing, grammar doesn't matter here just write whatever you feel is connected to the topic and the lines above or the paragraph.

Well let me give you an example

STEP 3 - Keep a dictionary handy, now check the poem how you've written it. Try to change the words like using one word with multiple meanings. Using words of that kind does give more meaning to your poetry and try making it rhyming.

STEP 4 - If you are not able to make much changes, use a dictionary and note down different words. Check the flow of your poetry and see if it flows smooth. Only copy pasting and making it rhyme won't work at all if your poem is meaningless and doesn't have a good flow. Better flow makes it more pleasing while reciting or looking through it.

Remember not all words suit your style, you just need to pick out those words which will be suiting your poetry the most.

In This way you can learn new words each day, although it depends on how frequently you write it and you can also improve your poetic skills and after a few days you will be able to do it without a dictionary.

Hope this tutorial was helpful, thanks for spending your precious time. If you like this article don't forget to share it with your friends.
